Hispanic Church Planting in the U.S. Pt3

Today, I want to talk about our “Target Group”.  This may be a sensitive subject for some people, after all, aren’t we trying to reach everyone?  Well, let me speak to this question as it relates to us.

I believe that God can use anyone to bring Glory to His name.  I especially believe that God can use our generation to do GREAT things in our lifetime.  Iglesia Vida, is dedicated in reaching the next generation for this purpose.  It’s one of our core values.  There are untapped resources that the first generation of Hispanics do not, or cannot have access to, and this is a BIG disadvantage.  It is the 2nd, 3rd, and even 4th generation of Hispanics here in the U.S. that DO and CAN take advantage of these resources.

What advantages and resources am I talking about?  Let me list a few.  Getting an education.  If born here, the advatanges of being a U.S. citizen.  The advantages of knowing both the Hispanic and American culture and language.

The advantages of getting a college education and working for a Fortune 500 company or starting your own business.  The next generation Hispanic, grasps and embraces technology and the power of the internet a little bit more that the first generation.

There are many first generation Hispanic business owners who, have a passion to be successful, yet due to the lack of time, lack of understanding, and resources, cannot catch up with the latest innovations in business strategies, marketing and the use of technology to make their businesses more productive and successful.

We have chosen as a primary “target group” to reach the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th generation Hispanic in order to make a progressive difference in the Hispanic local church and in the various Hispanic communities surrounding our city, and the world!

Tomorrow, I will share specifically how our “target group” can do just that.
